Kendall: Welcome to the sexy soul series. I'm Kendall Merritt, your host of the soul saturations podcast and I'm Kelsey Valleta host of the find your sexy podcast.
Today, we're talking about oral sex baby.
I am so big about having that self-reflection and diving deeper into the purpose behind things and oral sex is not just putting a mouth around and reaching an orgasm. There's so much more to it than that. Start off at journey, start off that self-reflection about what your beliefs are with oral sex and so that's something that I think you and I wanted to start off by talking about is we talked a lot in school about the sex talk, right. But we don't necessarily get to the conversation about oral sex. What was your experience with that? How did that start for you? What was your journey? And then I'd be happy to share mine.
Kelcey: I mentioned like you get the sex talk in school, right and it's not at...
Hey, welcome back to another episode of Soul Saturations. The podcast today, I am so excited to bring you another solo podcast. We're going to be talking all about one of my favorite topics, self pleasure. When we start to think about self-pleasure masturbation making love to yourself, this can bring up a lot of energy for a lot of people. This episode is going to be released in the last week of May so we are rounding out masturbation May. This is a month that us in the sexual health and wellness industry like to celebrate all things masturbation. It brings up a lot of different perspectives, a lot of different industries and different things to consider. What I want us to start off with is I want you to think about your self-pleasure practice and we can't start to reframe our perspective without first considering where we've been.
When you start to think of masturbation and self pleasure, what's your first reaction? How do you initially respond?...
This is Soul Saturations, the podcast, a transformational container to activate the light within you.
I'm really excited to riff with you for just a moment. We are going to talk all about honoring the energetics of dating. I was just coaching a client of mine, and this is something that I feel like we don't spend enough time talking about or thinking about from this particular perspective. Most people, when we think about dating, we think about being on the dating apps, having to go through the tinders, the bumbles, the hinges of the world, people get a lot of angst and worry and anxiety about, about that. And they say, Oh my gosh, like, have you seen the people on there? Or I can't find a conscious man anywhere, whatever those stories are that are coming up for you, I'd like you to just take a moment to put those aside. And I want you to start to think about, instead of I have to be on the apps, think about I get to be on the apps.
This is the law...
Welcome back to another episode of Soul Saturations.
I want to talk to you today a little bit about karmic patterns. We all have karma in this life. It's our past generational learning. It's how we were raised. It's lifetimes of experiences and so much more that makes up our karma. It is the way that we have chosen to respond in each and every moment in this lifetime. And that's a lot of moments or karmic patterns run deep. And until we can bring consciousness and awareness to these calm karmic patterns, they're going to continue to run our lives.
The habits and the patterns and the way that we respond, moment to moment experience to experience they form patterns in our nervous system and expectations of feelings and emotions in our physical bodies or karmic patterns are our habits and the body mind and how we relate and interact with the world. Our karmic patterns, our combination of our strengths and our weaknesses, and they dictate our reactions. So if we...
Kendall: We are so excited to bring you the second episode of our Sexy Soul Series.
Kelcy: For this episode, we are talking all about acknowledgement and validation, the difference between where that comes from internally and externally, if you're single, or if you're dating someone, I know that there's so much in this area and that Kendall and I both can offer so many different perspectives. I'm just curious, like, what are the first thoughts that come up for you when it comes to acknowledgement and validation and the difference between finding that internally and externally?
Kendall: I think one of the things that I absolutely love to start it off with is if you feel like you want more acknowledgement or validation, guess what you're normal, you're human like that is such a normal desire is to feel acknowledged, to feel validated, to feel appreciated. So I think first of all, just removing...

Let's talk a little bit about the soulful in your journey and then we'll dive into the sexual because I think those are two really key components and how we show up as women, as friends and as community leaders.
Regina: It's interesting like my journey to be a soulful...
Kendall: I'm so excited to introduce you today to Kiki Shiple also known as Kelly Shiple also known as Kiki. How do you show up and shine your light in the planet? How do you, what's your big mission? Like how do you shine?
Kiki:My mission is, I mean, like all of ours, it's, I feel like it's evolving and especially right now, it's evolving in a big way, um, for myself. And I know for a lot of people COVID like started like kicked off that evolution and for me it was, COVID kind of fell at a time where I was going through a lot of things personally and trying to figure out where I wanted to take my career and what I wanted to do. it resulted in a, a big pivot and so at this point in time, I shine my light by, helping women with their hormones. the bigger picture of that is bringing women back into their bodies and helping them to take back not only their bodies, but their health, their, their ability to love themselves, um, so that they...

We wanted to bring you a super honest, super real, super vulnerable conversation where we just get to chat and connect and talk, all things, sexuality, and wherever conversation is going to going is where we like to go...
Kelcy: ...I think it's like, you have to think of your mind, like any other muscle in your body, right? It's like, well, exercise will well do strength, training conditioning and like we'll rest our bodies, right? It's like, if you have an exercise routine, you make sure you have a rest day, you're taking care of your body. But with our mind, we don't really do that. It's just kind of like always go, go, go. And if you think about it, even at night, when we're sleeping and resting our body, like our mind is not asleep. Our mind is creating stories for us. We're dreaming, like it's nonstop. So I think...
Kendall: Welcome an amazing guest coming from Montreal. I'm so excited to introduce you to Dr. Rami Nijjar. I would love just to have you introduce yourself and share a little bit about how you shine your light on the planet and what your mission is here.
Dr. Rami Nijjar: I am a psychologist who specializes in sex and relationships. We're kind of looking at how we balance out our attachment needs in a way that helps us be secure and calm in relationships and in our sex lives in such a wonderful journey over the last year and just, you know,...
