As we get started, I would like to take a moment to honor the container and bring some awareness to our space and energy today, as you close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, I want you to start by having a moment of gratitude for something in your life. That could be the current present moment of just taking a moment to breathe. It could be somebody in your life or something that you're working on. And as you tune into this energy of gratitude, feel it move through your body. As you breathe deeper, focus on expanding that gratitude to every cell in your being and feel that energy start to move and flow through your body, as well as out into your space around you. As we tune into this container, know that you can always tune into the energy of gratitude.You can tune into your guides, your team, your angels, your ancestors, or any spiritual beings that you work with and know that you can just always support with gratitude. As we call on the support we ask for any energy that is not aligned with gratitude, that is not of the highest to be cleanse cleared. I'm released from us at this time, so that we may show up and radiate gratitude, love, and light. And so it is so as we get started on today's episode, I want to take a moment just to honor the present moment and where we are. I'm recording this episode on November 4th here in the United States, and we don't have a final contestant for our election results. So as we tune into energy on the planet, there is a lot of intensity. And even when I released this, I'm sure there's still going to be a lot of intensity on the planet. And so I thought that there's no better time to tune into the energy of gratitude than right now in the present moment, when we can use gratitude, that is an energy that will shift us into grace into the present moment.
We can be more productive and we can absolutely tune into the abundance that already surrounds us. When we start to look at things from the lens of chaos and intensity, we tend to get caught up in the spin. We start to move into comparison, or we resonate with things like fear and uncertainty and anxiety and stress. And there's so much of this that exists on the planet today. People live in a state of fear. They live in a state of intensity and anxiety because they don't have the tools to bring themselves into the present moment with grace.
Now, gratitude is one of those simple things that everybody knows what to do as we look at the month of November, November is traditionally founded around gratitude, being thankful for the moments that we have. If we can root down into gratitude by simply making a gratitude list, this practice is something that is so common across lots of different self-development areas of wellness and mental health and all these areas that you can easily tap into and tune into. Making a list, what are you grateful for right now in this present moment? And it can be a list of many, many things. And as you start to connect with the things that you're grateful for, notice how your energy may shift, how it may start to feel more inflow or the energy might feel like a density start to lift and you start to feel lighter, more free, more warmth, more generosity.
Gratitude gives us the ability to have the gift of the present moment. As we look at this time of the intensity on the planet, how can you be grateful for the present moment, no matter what, the outcomes or results of certain global scale things. We have the ability to choose our response, and we have the ability to choose how much energy we spend on these things. When we start to look at how we've been spending our time, if we've been spinning out and focusing our energy on things that aren't of the highest, or aren't serving our greater purpose in life, we can start to feel tired and exhausted and wiped out. Give yourself the inventory check of your own energy. Have you been feeling really tired? Have you been feeling really anxious or maybe a tightening in your chest or feeling really overwhelmed?
Notice it, acknowledge it. Give thanks for that moment because whatever you are feeling is illuminated so that you can choose. Is it serving you or would you like to align with a different energy at this time, if you've been feeling stressed, anxious, worried, fearful, or maybe just overall overwhelmed, it's okay to use gratitude, to tune in and to connect to shift. Using gratitude to shift into grace is how we create more flow and more abundance in our life. I know that we get caught up in where we want to be or how we want things to go. We look at thoughts and comparisons and expectations of everything that we wish we could control, but really you can't control anything changes. The only constant on this planet, uncertainty in life is everywhere. And we are just having more awareness of the uncertainty of the change and of our lack of control.
This is really tough when it comes to just managing our own energy and our containers, but it's also difficult when it comes to relationships. As you look at this energy currently on the planet, notice the energy of your relationship container is your relationship feeling a little bit more on edge? Are you feeling like your relationship with your partner has been challenged instead of getting caught, caught up in the minutia of little things here and there, that start to get in your way instead, choose gratitude for the present moment. Find something that you appreciate deeply about your partner or your home or your life together. It doesn't have to be perfect, but knowing that you can, can I have this underlying flow of compassion then for the intensity of the present moment, that's how you shift into grace.
We've first must have learned to have that grace with ourselves before we can actually show it with our partners. If we're running around frazzled and stressed out and our nervous systems are on absolutely heightened awareness, we're not going to be able to show up for our partners. When we can start to tune into the gift of gratitude for ourself, that allows us to show up for the gift of gratitude with our partners. We have to make a commitment to keep our energy stable and solid and protected because nothing in life is certain, nothing in life is promised or guaranteed. Change is the only constant that exists today. If you can choose to appreciate that, then you can start to shift that perspective and raise your vibration and look forward for the things that are coming. You can start to appreciate and know that you were so supported.
Everything is working out just the way you need it to it is offering you opportunities to raise the evolution of your soul, of your being and of those around you. Because the energy that you hold within you ripples out and affects others. When we look at our partnerships, our energy will directly impact our partners. But beyond that, it affects our friends, our family, our influence within our social media, our business partners, our clients, our energy affects others and that energy ripples out and affects the planet. When we look at the planet on a collective level, on a collective scale, we are experiencing something so similar. So whether that be COVID-19 global pandemic or the election in the United States, we as a collective are experiencing higher levels of intensity than we have ever experienced before. And knowing that that energy is going to move inwards and affect our sphere of influence, it's going to affect our partners, our family, our friends, our clients, and knowing that that energy will in turn, come in and affect us. This is where you can use gratitude to shift into grace. When we lose our awareness of the present moment, when we lose our presence, energetically, we get caught up in the spinning energy that is sometimes not even ours. Use gratitude to shift into grace so that you can be rooted in the present moment and create flow and abundance and be open to receive all that is already coming for you.
